COMPETITION: Seniors Open
PRESENTED BY: Seniors Committee.
COMPETITION FORMAT: 18 hole better ball stableford (pairs) on the Moorland Course, white tees.
ELIGIBILITY: Male members of Breadsall Priory Golf Club or other affiliated golf clubs (excluding iGolf members of England Golf). Both players to be aged 55 and over on the day of the event and have an official world handicap Index (WHS). The players must hold an active Handicap Index.
COMPETITION STATUS: Qualifier.
PLAYING HANDICAP LIMIT: 25
AGE LIMIT: 55 and over.
HANDICAP ALLOWANCE: 85% of course handicap but limited to a maximum playing handicap of 25 shots.
PRIZES: Prizes decided by the Seniors committee at the committee meeting immediately prior to the event. The Graham Latham Trophy to be presented to the best pair which contains a Breadsall member.
PRESENTATION OF PRIZES: Prize winners will be notified within seven days of the competitions conclusion. Prizes in the form of vouchers will be collectable from the Breadsall Priory Golf Shop. The Graham Latham Trophy will be presented to the leading Breadsall Priory Golf Club member at the Major presentation evening.
DATE OF COMPETITION: As advertised in the Seniors fixture list and club diary on the Intelligent Golf website.
TROPHY HELD FOR: One year.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: "The gross and nett score of the player who has the lowest nett score on a hole is to be recorded on the scorecard. The competition falls under the jurisdiction of the Men's Golf Senior Section Committee, whose decision will be final in this competition.
The entry fee will be determined by the Men's Seniors Golf Committee and displayed on the entry forms.

Tee times are booked in advance with the organiser. Playing in groups of four in accordance with the allocated tee times.
Handicaps are to be presented at reception and will be checked prior to any prizes are awarded. Refunds will not be given if a player cannot play on the day of the event. It is the players responsibility to find a replacement. If a tee time is cancelled due to a medical condition, the player must give the reason in by email at least 14 days prior to the event. The organiser will then consider a refund on medical grounds.
Abandonment of play: If play on the day has to be abandoned due to inclement weather or any other circumstance, then the result of the competition will stand if two thirds of the entries have completed 18 holes prior to the abandonment. In these circumstances, a refund of the entry fee will be made to those players who have not completed 18 holes prior to the abandonment. A pair may submit a card for scoring if less than 18 holes have been played but they would forfeit their right to a refund.
Cancellation of the event: If the competition has to be cancelled owing to inclement weather or any other circumstance, or play is abandoned on the day with less than two thirds of the entrants having completed their rounds; then an alternative date for the competition shall be used and the following rules will apply:
1) The same tee times will be carried forward to the rescheduled date.
2) If an entrant cannot play on the rescheduled date or requires their tee time changing on the rescheduled date, then they should try to arrange for a substitute player or arrange a different tee time with the organiser. If this is not possible, then a refund of the entry fee will be made provided that the entrant applies for a refund by email to the organiser within one month of the original competition date.
