Nowhere does the allure of history meet modern comfort more elegantly than at Breadsall Priory, A Marriott Hotel and Country Club.

Located in 300 acres of parkland in the heart of Derbyshire the club offers 36 holes - contrasting and challenging for players of all abilities.

The courses stand in more than 300 acres of glorious Derbyshire parkland, just a stones throw away from Derby city center and within each reach of the M1 motorway. They offer exciting golf on 2 different styled courses with the added benefits of exceptional Marriott service. With breathtaking views, demanding holes and open, undulating fairways and small, well protected greens, the golf course stands among some of the best in the Derbyshire and the east midlands. 

It features two high-quality golf courses, The Priory and The Moorland, each with its own challenges.  Both courses are Par 70 and measure just over 6,000 yards.

The Championship Priory Course

6120 yds. off the white tees with a par of 72, the Priory is visually stunning.

The course is steeply undulating and winds around the hotel complex.

Host to a PGA Europro Tour event in May 2003, the Priory is a challenging test of golf.

The Moorland Course

6028 yds. off the white tees with a par of 70, the Moorland is less challenging than the Priory Course.

The views from the Moorland Course are superb, with dry stone walls and fearsome rough featuring on many holes.

The Moorland Course is free draining and is open all year on full greens.

In addition to our superb golf courses we also offer a short game practice area, driving range, putting green and for those last minute hints and tips, a golf lesson. Breadsall Priory prides itself on professionally managing golf events and employs a dedicated team of golf specialists who ensure that each golf event receives extra special treatment.

Corporate Golf Services

Breadsall Priory Professionals are highly experienced in all aspects of corporate golf days. Their services and efforts are designed to ensure that your corporate golf day is as stress free for the host as it is successful and enjoyable for the guests.

Rolling Golf Clinic* - Ideal for those events when your guests arrival is spread over a period of time. Our Golf Professional welcomes your guests to the golf academy, offering individual advice.

Golf Day Clinic* - A superb mix of teaching, fun and practice which allows golfers of all abilities to analyse and cure their swing faults in a totally relaxed atmosphere. The clinic will start with a talk and demonstration by our Professional on common swing faults, followed by a fully supervised practice session on the range

Beat the Professional* - As the match arrives at the par 3 sixth hole, the professional hits a tee shot and any amateur finishing closer to the pin (but on the green) receives a prize (to be paid for by the company). A popular choice as it gets everyone involved and creates a great topic of conversation for the bar.

A comprehensive service involving our golf co-ordinator who will take away the stress and the hassle of the day, allowing you to spend quality time with your guests. This Includes:

v  Registration desk control

v  Starter and hotel liaison

v  Rules of golf expertise

v  Leader board and results service (from September 2013 we will be able to offer a full digital service allowing final score updates on a large screen in your chosen area)
