Junior Success at the 2018 Derbyshire Junior Championships!
On Sunday 8th July, junior golfers from across the county took to the fairways to compete in the County Junior Championships at Breadsall Priory.
I'm extremely proud to say that Breadsall Priory enjoyed some great success;
Congratulations to Sam Potter who claimed Division 1 Boys County Champion with rounds of 68 & 68, Division 2 Boys County Champion, Quin Tinkler, 2nd Place William Guggerty & 3rd Place Luke Hughes, and in the girls championships, Imogen Rafferty, Girls County Champion.
I would also like to wish Sam and Imogen the very best of luck as they now qualify to go to Midland Junior Champion of Champions event and the EG Junior Champion of Champions events.
I could not be more proud to see not only some huge achievements on the day but so many Breadsall Priory juniors taking part in these championships, this is a credit to every single player and the hard work that goes on behind the scenes.
I would also like to congratulate everyone who played on the day, all junior’s etiquette and demeanour on and off the golf course was exemplary.
It’s especially important to me to see so many juniors taking up the game of golf and enjoying every single minute of it, long may this continue!
And my congratulations to everyone again, fantastic achievement.
